Opportunity
From time to time job opportunities arise within JEMS for a Part-Time Geologist and/or Environmental Scientist. Applications are invited from persons who meet the following requirements:
Minimum Academic Pre-requisite
• BSc in Geology or Environmental Sciences
• Environmental Courses are an asset
Successful candidate(s) must be able to:
• Assess the geological/environmental make up of work sites.
• Prepare bore logs.
• Evaluate/predict where applicable likely fluid
movement due to site geology.
• Prepare summary report of field observations
Additional skills:
• Report Writing
• Computer literacy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programmes
• Driving
• Organization and Management
A reliable motor vehicle would be an asset.
